Erik Weir has more than 30 years’ experience in the wealth management industry, specifically
investment and financial services. He is a Certified Financial Planner, a licensed insurance
professional and holds various securities licenses, including Series 7, 4, 24, 51, 31, 63 and 65.
Weir graduated from Georgia State University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in
Finance and Real Estate in 1989.
Prior to forming his own company, Erik was a Senior Vice President of Donaldson, Lufkin &
Jenrette in San Francisco, California, and Assistant Vice President of Merrill Lynch in Atlanta,
Georgia. In 2011, Erik formed WCM Global Wealth, LLC, a diversified financial services
company, to provide the best client financial products and services possible. Weir is also the
owner of WTA Media, a leader in film marketing, financing, and literary representation. He
served as executive producer for films including Unbroken: Path to Redemption, and Run the
Race (Produced by Tim Tebow), as well as for an upcoming film based on the award-winning
Carolyn Weber memoir, Surprised by Oxford.
As an investor, Weir has partnered in the development of five Topgolf locations in the US and is
now partnering to develop 20 locations in Europe. An expert on entrepreneurism, goal-setting,
real estate investment, marketing, promotion and money management, Weir speaks to major
corporations across the country each year. When he is not busy pursuing his career goals, Weir
can be found in the skies, as he is a licensed private pilot.
