Erik has more than 30 years’ experience in the wealth management industry, specifically investment and financial services. Erik is a Certified Financial Planner, a licensed insurance professional and holds various securities licenses, including Series 7, 4, 24, 51, 31, 63 and 65.
Prior to forming his own company, Erik was a Senior Vice President of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in San Francisco, California, and Assistant Vice President of Merrill Lynch in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2011, Erik formed WCM Global Wealth, LLC, a diversified financial services company, to provide the best client financial products and services possible. Erik is also the co-manager of the WTA Group, LLC, the leading marketing, financing and production company in faith-based film. Several, well-known titles associated with WTA Group, LLC are War Room, Woodlawn, God’s Not Dead and Unbroken: Path to Redemption.
Erik is a graduate of Georgia State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Real Estate in 1989. Erik enjoys helping people think through leadership and stewardship as they seek to invest both time and resources in a meaningful way. Erik also enjoys aviation and is a licensed private pilot with over 20 years of experience. He resides in Greenville, S.C., with his wife Robin and their five boys.
Jim, a native Texan, has over 25 years of legal experience in corporate matters; including, business litigation; acquisition and development deals; commercial, industrial and retail leasing; real property transactions; lending and finance transactions; and commercial transactions.
Prior to joining WCM Global Wealth, LLC in 2015, Jim practiced business and commercial law for several large S.C. law firms in excess of 21 years. He is admitted to practice in all S.C. State Courts; United States District Court (District of S.C.); Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals; and the United States Tax Court.
Jim received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987 and his Juris Doctor Degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1993. Jim and his family reside in Charleston, S.C.
Jonathan has more than 22 years of investment and financial services experience.
Prior to joining WCM Global Wealth, LLC in 2015, Jonathan was partner and portfolio manager at Mission Capital Management, an independent Registered Investment Advisor based in Franklin, Tennessee. Jonathan’s additional fund management experience includes partner and founder of Alloy Global Fund in 2008 and senior analyst at Jetstream Capital Management in 2003, where assets grew from $10 million to $1.3 billion over the course of four years. He was also an analyst with AIM Funds (now Invesco) where he worked with the Value Fund, a $30 billion large cap GARP (Growth at a Reasonable Price) mutual fund, and with the AIM Worldwide Spectrum Fund, which achieved top decile performance and was recognized by the Wall Street Journal as a top performer in its class.
Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Texas A&M University in 1994 and his Master of Business Administration with honors from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University in 2001. Jonathan enjoys playing golf, coaching baseball and traveling. He lives in Greenville, S.C., with his wife and six children.
Michael has more than 25 years of diverse experience with growing middle-market companies through long-term strategic planning and communication of key business issues, drivers, plans and results to senior employees, Board of Directors and outside stakeholders.
Prior to joining WCM Global Wealth, LLC in 2017, Michael served as CFO for several private companies ranging from $30 million to $250 million in revenue. Before his operating roles as CFO, Michael was Managing Director of a regional investment banking firm where he advised closely‐held and middle‐market companies and their management teams on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, structured financings and ESOPs. He serves clients in numerous industries including technology, manufacturing, business services, and healthcare.
Michael received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and his Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. When he’s not in the office, Michael enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
Todd has more than 20 years of experience working in every aspect of both the real estate and development industry.
Prior to joining WCM Global Wealth, LLC in 2017, Todd served as vice president and broker in charge for Central Realty Holdings, LLC. In this position, he was responsible for leasing, property management, acquisitions, new business development, underwriting and dispositions for a diverse list of clients including Chick Fil-A, Moe's, Earth Fare, Bank of America, South State Bank, Home Depot, Spinx and the UPS Store.
Todd is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Management. In his downtime, Todd enjoys coaching his son’s soccer team, playing golf and snow skiing.
Park has more than 15 years of investment, financial services and estate planning experience. Park holds the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) certification and maintains Series 7 and 66 securities licensing as a licensed insurance professional.
Prior to joining WCM Global Wealth, LLC in 2016, Park served in wealth advisory roles with BB&T Wealth and U.S. Bank's Private Client Group. Throughout Park's career, his focus has been working with affluent families to clarify their goals and objectives and create actionable plans to achieve them.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Illinois College in 2001 and his Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University in 2005. Park and his wife currently reside in Greenville, S.C., with their three children.
Jeff has been in the financial services business for over 50 years providing comprehensive financial, exit and estate planning for business owners, professionals and affluent individuals. His professional designations include, among others, Certified Exit Planner (CExP), Certified Financial Planner (CFPTM), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC). Jeff also holds the following securities licenses: Series 7, 22, 65 and SC Life Insurance.
Jeff is a graduate of Kent State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife of 33 years, his three wonderful children and his beautiful grandchildren: Finnlee, Stellan and McCoy.
A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Jerry has over 20 years’ experience in sales and business development.
Prior to joining WCM Global Wealth, LLC in 2015, Jerry served as president of ONEALCO, Inc. and Weft, Inc. for 18 years as an importer for textile machine parts produced in Europe, Asia and the United States.
Jerry is a graduate of Presbyterian College and has lived in Greenville, S.C., for the past 30 years with his wife and three children. In his downtime, Jerry enjoys most outdoor activities, volunteering with his church and spending time with his growing family.
Antonette has worked in the investment industry since 1999 and with Erik C. Weir since 2005. As compliance specialist, she is integral to our investor relationships. She works closely with the management team and WCM Global Wealth, LLC clients.
Antonette earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She currently resides in San Francisco with her family.
Cathy, originally from New York, has over 15 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable. Cathy provides substantial accounting support for WCM Global Wealth, LLC, through managing the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment, processing employee expense reports and ensuring all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to.
Cathy earned her Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Suffolk County Community College in 2010. She currently resides in Simpsonville, S.C., and enjoys reading historical mysteries and spending time with her dog, Nala.
Originally from South Africa, Cheryllynn has over 10 years’ experience in the administrative and hospitality industries.
In her current role, Cheryllynn is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and service-related needs of the office and WCM Global Wealth, LLC clients.
Cheryllynn is a graduate of St. Dominic’s College in Gauteng, South Africa. When she’s not in the office, Cheryllynn enjoys refurbishing furniture and spending time with her family.
Ryley oversees WCM Global Wealth’s day-to-day marketing operations. She is responsible for optimizing internal and external communication strategies in relation to current market and consumer trends.
Prior to joining WCM Global Wealth, LLC in 2017, Ryley has worked for Iconix Brand Group, one of the world’s top management companies, and The Brandon Agency, one of S.C.’s leading integrated marketing agencies.
Ryley is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she received two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Public Relations and one in Psychology, in 2017. In her free time, Ryley loves trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
Sarah “Willi” McNamara
Willi, originally from Columbia, has over 20 years’ experience in the legal and nonprofit fields. For the majority of her professional career, she has been involved in multiple areas of governmental affairs and lobbying. She has also worked as an office manager and executive assistant to the Board of Directors of a research foundation founded by a major S.C. philanthropist. In her current role, Willi provides support to the WCM Global Wealth, LLC management team, specifically the General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer.
Deidre “Dee” Decker
Dee has over 10 years’ experience working in the legal, financial and pharmaceutical industries throughout the East Coast. In her current role, Dee provides support to the WCM Global Wealth, LLC management team, specifically the Principal, Senior Portfolio Manager, Director of Investor Relations and the Director of Planning.
Prior to joining WCM Global Wealth, LLC in 2017, Dee has worked with Merrill Lynch and Reckitt Benckiser North America where she served in key administrative roles.
Dee is a graduate of Boston College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Dee resides in Greenville, S.C., with her husband, and enjoys swimming, gardening and watching Boston College football.
Congressman Gresham Barrett served in the U.S. House of Representatives representing South Carolina’s 3rd District from January 2003 to January 2011. During his tenure he served on key committees and subcommittees including the Committee on Financial Services, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Energy and Commerce Committee, and the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct.
Before Congress, from 1996-2002, he served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 1st District. There, he served on the Education and Public Works Committee; Labor, Commerce, and Industry Committee; Rules Committee, and the School Choice Ad Hoc Committee. He also chaired the Ad Hoc Committee on Urban Growth.
Gresham is a member of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP’s Government Relations Group and its Federal Strategies Team. He has significant federal experience and represents clients before federal, state, and local legislative, regulatory and administrative agencies. He is based in the Firm’s Washington, DC, and Greenville, SC, offices.
A native of Westminster, SC, Congressman Barrett earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Citadel in 1983. He served in the U.S. Army from 1983-1987, and attained the rank of captain in the field artillery. He is a businessman who formerly ran the family’s furniture store, Barrett’s Furniture Store.
Mack served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The South Financial Group, a bank holding company, he founded in 1986. He retired from the company at the end of 2008, and is now an investor and advisor for several entrepreneurial ventures.
Mr. Whittle has served as Chairman of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of South Carolina, where he remains on the board. Other affiliations include the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts at the JFK Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, and many state and community boards including the South Carolina Arts Foundation, The Palmetto Business Forum, South Carolina State Museum Foundation, The Greenville County Art Museum, Midlands Business Leadership Group, The Palmetto Institute, The SC Council on Competitiveness, The Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation and the Greenville Symphony Advisory Board.
Mack is a Past President of the South Carolina Bankers Association and was named that organization’s “Outstanding Young Banker”. Other honors include the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Darla Moore School of Business at The University of South Carolina, The Whitney Young Humanitarian Award from the Greenville Urban League, and The Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Ernst & Young. In addition, Mr. Whittle created the Carolina First Bank Foundation in 1999 to demonstrate Carolina First Bank’s commitment to elevate the quality of education in South Carolina and other markets served by the Company.
Chad Roach is a successful entrepreneur who has started companies in various fields including precious metals, credit card processing & merchant services, venture capital, and alternative asset investments.
In 2008, Chad founded Cornerstone Bullion, a precious metals firm that meets the rapidly changing needs of the 21st century investor. Because of their highly competitive pricing and uniquely personal service to clients, Cornerstone Bullion quickly became one of America’s fastest growing dealers in gold and silver bullion. Cornerstone Bullion now annually supplies tens of millions of dollars in precious metals to clients across the US and Canada, as well as multiple countries around the world.
Timothy Metzler serves as President of Retail Properties, Inc. (RPI). Since founding RPI in 1991, Mr. Metzler has successfully negotiated over 250 anchor tenant transactions and 25 shopping center sales. Retailers served include Harris Teeter, Staples, TJX Companies, Home Depot, Lowe’s Home Improvement, GDC Home, Rack Room Shoes, Publix Supermarkets, Stein Mart, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Circuit City, The Sports Authority, Rhodes Furniture, Books-A-Million, Wells Fargo, Ethan Allen and Bonefish Grill.
In addition to his work with RPI, Mr. Metzler is an accomplished real estate broker who has served for the past 10 years on the Retail Brokers Network (RBN) Board of Directors. During his time with RBN, he was the first recipient of the “Lifetime Achievement Award" for his outstanding work and commitment to the organization. As of 2017, Mr. Metzler accepted a position on the RBN Tenant Council’s Advisory Board where he is also a Co-Chair.
When the IFR rated pilot isn’t flying his Cirrus SR22 aircraft, Mr. Metzler is serving as the Chairman for the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Merchandise Committee, volunteering with the Country Club of Charleston Membership Committee and raising funds for the USGA 113th Women’s Amateur Championship.
Mr. Metzler joined WCM Global Wealth’s Advisory Board in 2018.
George McCall is a decorated veteran, financial banking professional and longtime Greenville native. With his banking expertise and commitment to helping others, Mr. McCall is an extraordinary addition to WCM Global Wealth’s Advisory Board.
In 1972, Mr. McCall joined the United States Army and served six years active duty after obtaining a B.A. from Presbyterian College. Following active duty, Mr. McCall accepted a job with Wachovia, now Wells Fargo Bank, and went back to school to obtain his MBA at the University of South Carolina. While working and continuing his education, he also continued to serve in the South Carolina National Guard for another 18 years.
During his 20+ year banking career, Mr. McCall has served in both associate and executive positions such as portfolio/fund manager and trust officer. He still maintains his CFP designation and enjoys doing pro-bono financial planning for disabled veterans throughout the Southeast. In addition to his Advisory Board position with WCM Global Wealth, George also serves on the YMCA of Greenville Endowment Board and recently began a term on the Vestry of Christ Church.
Mr. McCall joined WCM Global Wealth’s Advisory Board in 2018.
Gary Chamblee is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 30 years’ experience serving in multiple executive positions, including chief financial officer and chief executive officer, for several ministry related not-for profit organizations throughout Georgia, Alabama and Texas.
In addition to his work with ministry related organizations, Mr. Chamblee was also a senior partner with Phillips Consulting. In this position, he traveled throughout the world to assist organizations in operations, marketing, financing and fundraising. With a passion for synergistic works, Mr. Chamblee has assisted in mergers and reorganizations of ministries to promote better stewardship of resources.
Other organizations Mr. Chamblee has worked with includes Healing Hands International, Health Talents International, Missions Resource Network and the Commission Against Diseases of Poverty.
Presently, Mr. Chamblee serves as a consultant to the Shumard Foundation. As a consultant, he has invested over $100,000,000 in various projects. These investments have been highly diversified with an early interest in the real-estate market purchasing distressed assets and later repositioning them. Other investments involve the recapitalization of small businesses and marketable securities.
When he is not consulting, Mr. Chamblee serves as a member of both the Greater Atlanta Christian Foundation Board and the President’s Council of Harding University, where he received his undergraduate degree. Mr. Chamblee and his wife currently reside in Georgia where he has three children and eight grandchildren.
Mr. Chamblee joined WCM Global Wealth’s Advisory Board in 2018.
